Supporting Employee Mental Health: A Workshop Designed for People Leaders

As a progressive and caring employer, you work hard to provide a positive work environment designed to bring out the best in your team. But even the best workplaces struggle to help employees suffering from mental health challenges when symptoms go unrecognized. As well, most front line managers are unsure what they can or should do.


Montridge has partnered with Morneau Shepell for a half-day workshop designed to provide front line managers and HR personnel with the tools to:


  • Recognise the link between mental health issues and behaviour and performance issues.
  • Learn their role and responsibilities in helping to manage and support an employee with a mental health issue.
  • Follow a process for helping someone who may be exhibiting symptoms.

Three separate sessions will be offered on the mornings of:

  • Tuesday, October 6th
  • Wednesday, October 7th
  • Thursday, October 8th

The small group format of these workshops will provide attendees with the chance to role play and practice challenging employee situations that affect the workplace.


Due to the small group format, registration is limited to three team members per company regardless of the date chosen.


Each daily session is limited to 30 participants. A waiting list will be available for additional members to attend should space become available prior to the event.


With there being 3 separate workshop days, a link will be specific to the date chosen and be available on the Eventbrite page when you sign up for the date of your choice.


Cost is $105 per registrant. Fees are designed to cover program delivery costs. Any excess funds will be donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association in recognition of Canadian Mental Health Week.
